A set of fantastic Ping ISI 3-PW (8 irons) Nickel Beryllium Irons currently set at standard BLACK colour code suitable for height 5'8"to 6' depending on wrist to floor measurement but can be altered to any code. Essentially a new set of clubs with refurbished heads, new shafts and new grips.The ISI model was popular between 1999-2002 and was a hybrid design of the popular EYE 2 and ZING models. The Nickel Beryllium irons where Pings top of the range flagship model in the late 1990s and are still much sought after, as they give an incredible feel on impact and offer a unique appearance.These clubs were discontinued around 2000 as the casting of beryllium was banned in Arizona where they were made due to pollution issues. they are now a modern day classic that will still perform as good as anything available in the current market.A full refurbishment of the clubheads back to almost factory new condition with the faces being shot blasted with Aluminium oxide to revitalise the hitting surface and create added backspin. Have a close look at the images after refurb on the 3 iron and both Wedge showing virtually no signs of any wear. These clubs will easily give 20 years of future use so why buy inferior new clubs at this price. Possibly the best example of this club currently listed on ebay.
NB Make sure you know what colour coding you are. see Ping website No other club manufacturer makes clubs as good as this. I used to retail these clubs for £800 in the late 90s and they were considered one of the best on the market.
Shafts that can be fitted are either Reg or Stiff flex Ping CFS . Heads are in excellent general condition with no major marks or chips. 10/10. Heads have gone through a 3 hour refinishing process using an aluminium oxide shotblasting process to remove any tiny scratches from the hitting surface so will play like almost new clubs.
