Callaway Apex Irons 4 thru AW Regular Flex Steel Shaft

You are bidding on a gently used set of Callaway Apex Irons 4-iron thru AW (4,5,6,7,8,9,PW,AW). They are standard length/standard loft/standard grip. The shafts are all True Temper XP95 R300. These irons were marketed by Callaway as the longest irons you will ever play. They were right. They accomplished that feat by making all of the lofts a little stronger than previous models and adding a little (1/2" or less) length to the shafts progressively. The 4-iron might be 1/2" longer than previous models, The 5-iron a 1/2" longer, the 6-iron 3/8" longer, etc until the PW is the same length as the previous model. In short, Callaway designed this set to a more modern standard of distance compared to irons from the '80's or '90's. That said, they ARE longer. I hit the 6-iron in this set as long as my PING 5-iron. You don't need a 3-iron. The 4-iron flies far enough and high enough to make you forget about 3-irons. I ordered this set with the True Temper XP95 steel shafts which is the Callaway stock shaft. The flex is Regular (R300). I have always played regular shafted irons and stiff shafted woods.
