For auction very rare set of Macgregor Tourney Classic Pro 82 3-pw.Shafts are brunswick 5.5 with steps no shaft bands I removed them. They played very well for me and i usually hit x100 in my irons they are quite stiff in my opinion.Set is similar to the VIP or Muirfiled forged blades but much rarer and they dont have diamonds that border the grooves.I have read on the forums this set was the set issued when you took a custom trip to the Macgregor Factory in Georgia and paid around $5000 or more for the privilege to have a very special set of clubs built for you and a tour of the factory and you got a custom Bag and Umbrella similar to how macgregor took care of its PGA staff back in the 1990s when Macgregor was one of the top quality irons made.I replaced the grips with tour issue golf pride victory cord in limited brown color not the standard green. I played the irons for about a year and took very good care of them not much range work they are in Good Condition see pics {no excessive face wear} I would rate 88/100Set is standard length 5 iron is aprox 37.75 or 38 on how you measure. Shafts and Ferrals are original. they are flat lie angles but can be adjusted to any spec loft or lie.Let me know if you have any more info on this set as i dont know the complete history I believe they are built sometime in the 1990s
