Rare Vintage Titleist Tour Model Forged Iron Set includes 9 clubs 2-5, 7-9, Pitching Wedge and a Spaulding Tournament Putter. The 6 iron is missing. These clubs don't appear as they have been hit much and look to be in near MINT condition. The Faces and Soles of the set are clean and shiny with no major nicks or scratches. The most used clubs appear to be the PW and 9 they have very faint signs of use. 2, 5 and 7 show use but even lighter. The others virtually no use. Really the only real blemish in this set is on the grip of the 8 iron. (shown in photo #11) The shafts are True Temper Dynamic S (Stiff) in excellent shape And grips don't really show any wear. I have seen used clubs with cracks and breaks in the grips. This is NOT the case with these clubs. Grips look very good. The Spaulding Putter shows the most use. Faces are excellent and Sole does show marks but doesn't seem to be anything bad. I had a friend that designs putters for Titleist take a look at them to get some kind of value on them. He did value them a little higher, but let me know that since one club in the set is missing that would de-value the set a little. So I added the Spaulding Putter and ask what I think is fair value. For a set of clubs that are over 30 years old the condition to me, is quite impressive. I also have listed a matching set of 4 Titleist Persimmon Woods 1, 3, 4, 5. They are in equally as impressive shape.Please inspect every photo to determine the condition of these items. I take high resolution studio photos to help see the condition of the items.
