New Nike Method Prototype Rory 006. As pictures show the putter is unused with the head still sealed in plastic as received from Nike. Comes with everything pictured including the box, 006 putter, volt green magnetic headcover, dozen RZN balls, and booklet (#232). If you're a collector or fan of Rory you would be hard pressed to find head sealed in plastic 006 prototypes still out there. Get it now before Rory wins his next major.
Design engineers at the Oven worked with Rory McIlroy and other Tour Pros to design a putter that blends superior craftsmanship with innovative science to create a confidence-inspiring look while giving the athlete an advantage with superior roll. The putter was released online in April of 2015 and sold out almost immediately. The putter is a collaboration between Rory and Nike's Tour department, The Oven. The result was the Method Prototype 006 Putter featuring a tour-inspired shape and Polymetal Groove technology.
The putter was available in limited quantities on nike.com and each putter sold featured a laser-engraved Oven logo and come with a tour-packaged box of RZN black golf balls, a limited-edition head cover and an Oven design schematic book with detailed information about the club.
