Vintage GolfCraft Model 109 Irons 2-PW Golf Craft PTR Pesimmon Driver, 3&4 Woods Irons are marked with the name Bob Gates. Shafts also have name tags with the name R. W. Gates. Not sure if they are one in the same but it is very interesting. Could not find any info on a golfer by that name from the 1950's when these irons were made. Irons are in very good condition for their age with very light use. All leading edges and grooves are in great condition. Note: pitching wedge does have a few minor dings. Flex is not marked but was told they were stiff, same as the woods which are marked stiff flex. Original leather grips look very nice but are slick from age. Playing with these type of grips will usually prying back the tackyness 5 iron measures 37.5" long Persimmon woods are also in very nice condition with light play marks on the soles. Heads and finish are in great condition with only a few very minor bag marks. Previous owner really took nice care of these clubs. Driver measures 45" long. Driver and 4 wood were re griped at one time with swing rite grips that are a tad slick but still very playable. 3 Wood still has original leather grip and is in good condition.
