For the Callaway XR Pro Hybrid, Callaway changed their whole approach to make a hybrid that's even longer and more forgiving in a more compact head design for better players. From the ground up, they developed a completely new upgrade to the Forged Hyper Speed Face Cup, which increases ball speed across the face.Callaway also put in more moment of inertia (MOI) and their lowest center of gravity (CG) ever in a hybrid by positioning more weight lower and around the perimeter of the head. They also refined a way to lower CG even more, increase MOI even more, and somehow, someway, still free the face cup to flex for more ball speed, too.
