AUCTION ITEM #1 of 8 Thanks for looking at my Auction – Please also look at my other Auctions. ------------------ * ------------------- This is a set of the latest PING G IRONS : AWT Regular Steel Shafts and Green dot (2* upright). Standard grips with 2 layers of tape. : 5 iron to Wedge and all matching numbers. Due to a recurring wrist injury my old clubs with stiff steel shafts had to go and I was persuaded that a more forgiving set would be easier to hit.
I booked in for a custom-fit session at my local club. After some time the clubs that they recommended were these latest PING irons. All the numbers on the machine stacked up so I handed over £540.00 for these six irons, (6 @ £90) absolutely certain that they would be the answer to my problem and to allow me to continue playing. They arrived on Monday 9th May and I was out playing with them under one hour later. Despite trying the best I could I still struggled. I tried again last week but still no better and yesterday I managed just 7 holes before calling it a day. Sad that after 50+ years of playing I can no longer participate in the sport. So, the clubs have played a total 43 holes and honestly, its doubtful if any club has been used for more than 15 times.They are absolutely immaculate; no chips, dents or scratches. Yes there are some minuscule signs of use on the face but nothing more than you would expect. My starting price is £65 per club (£390 for the set) and which is equivalent to the trade price and about £100 less than I can find for the identical set on eBay. There is NO RESERVE. Shipping will be by Hermes and their cost is £13.45 which is the same that I will charge you.
