Ben Hogan APEX 3-P/W FORGED Iron Set, Pebble Beach member S300 Flex

Up for sale is my Ben Hogan 98 Apex Blades (second owner). This set is from a Pebble Beach member! He died; his wife gave them to a broker that I bought them from. She told the broker she wanted to sell them to someone that would appreciate her husband’s clubs and where they came from (Pebble Beach). So that is the story/history of the clubs. I have attached many pictures to review. 4-9 iron are the original 98 Apex blade set, the 3 iron is a Apex Edge Pro and the Pitching wedge is a Special wedge. I had a Golf Pro look at them and was told they are True Temple S300 shafts with good golf pride grips that do not need to be replaced. As you can see from the pictures the faces and grooves are in good condition for their age. The bottom soles of the clubs have the platting off of the from the sandy fairways of a sea side course (another reason I believed the brokers story when I bought them) this would not happen on a grassy golf course. I am selling the set because they have been sitting in my closet for a year now and I would like to pass them on to someone who would enjoy them as much as I did. At 62 years young I can no longer hit them. When you hit them center face the ball feels like butter and you can feel what a true blade feels like. I have seen 98 Apex blades with rusted faces and wore out groves sell for over $400.00 on Ebay. I do not sell outside of the United States. Thank you for looking and Good Luck.
