Great set of Mizuno Pro irons (2-SW) for all you collectors out there! It's hard to know for sure, but from a few sources I believe these were the very first set of Mizuno irons produced 1982-1983. They have a bit of a Hogan look and feel to them and that would definitely fall in line with early 80's dating. Surprisingly light and with a slightly larger head than one would expect from early Mizuno. This particular set has all matching serial numbers on the ferrules and True Temper shafts. The labels have long since worn away, but they look to be stiff Dynamic Gold. The Tour Wrap grips are in decent shape & look to be built up a touch. For being 35 years old these club heads are in great shape and don't have the usual wear marks on the clubface! It does look like a couple of the clubs have had some light grinding done to them though. As far as the provenance of being the first line of Mizuno irons, it's almost impossible to know for sure because Mizuno didn't keep great records and there was also a custom shop...These will go on the wall right next to my MP 100's if no one buys them! Thanks for looking!
