Another outstanding PING driver !!!This is a NEW PING Anser Titanium Driver, 8.5 degrees, with matching headcover. It was introduced in 2012 with an original MSRP of $399.99.
The Anser driver is a traditional shaped 460cc clubhead and has a non-glare black matte finish.It incorporates Variable Face Thickness (VFT) technology for minimizing ball speed loss on off-centered hits. The Ping adapter allows loft adjustment - plus or minus a half degree to optimize your launch angle and spin rate. When increasing loft, the face angle closes; when reducing loft, the face angle opens.The shaft is a Black Diamana 'ahina 70x5ct (70 grams range) in X flex (eXtra stiff) - an excellent shaft !.The length is 45.5 inches.The grip is a Black Ping Dogbone with vertical stripes on the top half and horizontal dashes throughout.Matching headcover ... but no tool to be found :-(If you like all Black, the PING Anser may indeed be the ans(w)er for you !$13 shipping to continental U.S. Alaska & Hawaii additional.
