New 2017 Titleist Scotty Cameron Futura 5 CB with 15 gram weights, 34 inches long, midsize Matador grip.This putter in new in the box, only taken out of the plastic bag for the pictures. New from Scotty Cameron is the 2017 Futura line of putters, all of which have been designed to give players more forgiveness and stability, improved alignment features, and a soft yet responsive feel. Multi-material construction used in the creation of the new Futura putters allowed weight to be distributed to the perimeter of the putter head to increase MOI, while heel-toe weighting creates optimal balance and forgiveness. Additionally, a vibration dampening system has been implemented to give players a soft feel that still provides feedback related to mis-hits, while alignment has been made easier through the use of features such as milled sight lines and rail alignment. Scotty Cameron Futura putters employ a numbering system to help players identify head size, with 5 being the smallest and 7 representing the largest, and all models have minimum toe flow, which means they will work best for players who have a slight arc in their stroke or utilize a straight back, straight through approach.This is from the Cameron website:Scotty’s putters have evolved in complexity as modern milling technology has enabled ideas to be sculpted with metal at tolerances to the thousandth of an inch.
