Full disclosure: This is a full set 2-SW of 1986 Wilson Staff Tour Blades..........but with a twist. I bought these from a close friend who was the head Pro at a large Country Club in Palm Desert back in early 1987. Notice the T-630 engraved on each iron. I was told that he got two sets, identical, from the Pro at Mission Hills where Couples was playing out of in those days. The T was to designate "tour ground" and the 630 was supposedly Freddy's ID when he was playing for Wilson. The reason Fred never picked them up is that he "switched" to Lynx Golf just before these sticks were delivered. So I got a set. I used the clubs in the desert for about a year, and then decided to "store them". They have always been protected and the covers you see are included. ALSO included is the vintage Wilson Staff Gooseneck carry bag you see. In great shape, no issues. ALSO, I will add a Wilson Staff 1 iron, seen in the photo. Also in really great condition. But the real story are the tour blades. I have looked for blades like these for 30 years, and have never seen any in this kind of condition. The original Winn grips show some wear, but are playable. But you're not buying the grips. I CANNOT guarantee these were hand ground to Freddy's specs. I have called Wilson over the years and cannot get confirmation. Maybe one of you experts can verify. But you CANNOT find irons like this with an engraving like these. Anywhere,. But I can say that these clubs are in absolute pristine condition. I'm sorry to have to let them go. I guarantee EVERY sale. If they don't live up to your expectations, just pay to ship them back for a full refund.
