A classic set of progressive irons from 2001. With true temper dynamic gold regular shafts and Lamkin Crossline grips put on 3 years ago so thats about 45 rounds. (3i & 4i have jumbo Karma grips for more feel) Before you read on these irons are not meant for beginners, please consider if you are a sweet ball striker with a sub 18 handicap, these clubs will help you. At setup they look clean and old-school with a thin topline and no offset. They hit like butter when you strike them clean and will let you know when you don't. The short irons have a low boring trajectory and the long irons go high .They are as soft as any forged iron I've ever played and they offer great forgiveness and playability at the same time. The nickel plating offers great feedback on shots and the cavity back in the 7 iron and under give you the forgiveness we all sometimes need. Crisp clean shots feel fantastic and even the mis-hits go almost straight and only lose minimal distance. The real joy in these clubs are the muscle back 8I - PW. These bad boys are pin-seekers I get such a buzz from hitting high arrow like shots into small targets and am upset if they don't pitch within 10 feet of target, if you do your bit they will respond. You want to hit a high fade in, these irons can do it. You want to hit a low punch, these irons can do it. You want to hit a draw, these irons can do it. Easily one of the best irons I've ever hit. They've taken 4 shots off my handicap in 3 years in from 15 to 11 considering i rarely get out more than once a month that is a decent return. These Irons are longer than todays regular irons so more suitable for a person who stands upright or is at least 5ft 10" the 3 iron and 4 iron are approximately 1.5inches longer than todays standard with the other irons about an inch.As i said they are 16 years old, i have had them for 5 years before that the previous owner bought them from new. Usual clatter on the back of the faces and sole, minimal on the face. The SW as shown in the picture has a dent/chip on the back of the hosel clearly highlighted in one of the pictures. Not sure if I'm making the right decision selling but I'm confident who ever buys them will not be disappointed.
