This auction is for Scotty Cameron's First Production Model, referred to as the Fry's Pity Putter, in mint condition. Comes with Certificate of Authenticity # A-031113 as shown. This putter is #370 out of 700 made. Produced in 1991, this putter has similarities to Scotty's Handmade blade designs, with no engraving on the back wall or sole. During a round of golf, it was "out of pity " to Scotty that John Fry of Fry's Golf Warehouse in San Francisco placed the first order for Scotty's first production putter, which is the pictured putter being auctioned here. As Scotty described it, John Fry had given him then a "pity order" of 700 putters. And the rest became history. This 35-inch putter was refinished to perfect condition by Scotty's Custom Shop. No dings, no scratch, and it has never touched a golf ball. The mill marks have been made to look like the old Classics as this, small and tight. And as can be seen, this putter is in excellent 10/10 collectors's quality condition. It's a must-have for all Cameron collectors. Every part of this putter is original from the Custom Shop... the shaft, the CS shaftband label, the Danny Edwards NOS grip, and the black CS headcover.
