Born in 1847 George Forrester he was one of the most innovative club makers of the 1890's. Forrester had a new patent almost every year and in 1895 patented the "Bulb-Toe" Cleek. While this club has its markings worn away this club is clearly from the 1895 era and definitely has the bulb toe look. Cannot be positive but all signs point to this being a George Forrester design. The shaft is nice and straight and the head firmly affixed to the reshafted hickory shaft. The grip is missing but the original listing is still intact. This club would be ideal for any collector of unique patents or club design. In the 25 years I've been collecting I've never had one like it.Please view all photos carefully and ask questions before bidding. Good luck.
