I bought the 4 golfer carvings in an auction a few years ago. They were originally screwed onto their own little stand and the carver burned in his name and date that he carved each fellow on the bottom of their stand. The pencil and golf club for the score keeper carving were missing so I did the best I could to make replacements. Then I used a cast-off oak cupboard door to make a putting green, and used a thimble is the ball cup. I drilled one hole for each carving into the oak and put a piece of toothpick into the holes. Each figure has their right shoe screw hole placed onto the toothpick to keep them stable and it is possible to pivot each figure in both directions or put the toothpick in a left shoe if one desires (see photo 5). The golf clubs are fitted for each individual figure and are not interchangeable due to the size of the shafts. The golf club shaft of the fellow holding the flag has been broken and repaired so be aware that these are delicate objects. The score card and thumb tip of the score keeper has also been repaired (glued back on). I glued the original stands for each sculpture onto the bottom side of the putting green and they are numbered to correspond to the number written on the sole of each sculpture's shoe (see photo 7). I collected several tiny golf balls and the one that was the correct dimension for the scene was from a clothing string brand tag of a new golf shirt. I shaved off the string as close as possible and attached it to the oak using a removable "glue dot" (see photo 6). I don't know who Herman Reis is but I think he did a fantastic job with the detail and personalities of these old timers. Each character is individually pictured in photos 2, 3, 4 and 5. This golf scene dimensions are approximately 11" height, 11.5" at the widest part of the oak board and 17" length.  All items are coming from a non-smoking household and we also do not have indoor furry pets. I do my best to assure my items to be as clean as possible.

Policies:

Return Policy: If an item is broken during shipment, the buyer will need to send me photographs of the broken item so that I can file a claim with the shipping service. After the photographs are received (via e-mail is fine) I will reimburse the full amount of the item selling price.>>>>>>>>>> But if the item that broke is part of a set then I will want the unbroken parts returned so I can find replacement parts then relist for sale. Buyer will be instructed on how to return the item to me with a prepaid (by seller) shipping label. After item is received by me, then I will reimburse the buyer the full price paid for the item.>>>>>>>>>>If I have misrepresented an item in description or photographs, then I will pay the return shipping cost of the item by issuing a prepaid return shipping label to the buyer. Buyer will get a full refund of the item selling price once item is received back to me. >>>>>>>>>>If buyer decides they do not want the item for any other reason, buyer will pay for the return shipping cost of the item (item must be received back in the same condition, so pack the item sufficiently) and also be charged a restocking fee equal to the original shipping cost paid by me to reimburse me for the original "free" shipping cost. After I receive the returned item, then the buyer will be reimbursed the amount equal to the item selling price minus the original shipping cost.>>>>>>>>>>Buyers will have 30 days (beginning on the day item is received) to request to return an item or to inform me of a "broken during shipment" item.>>>>>>>>>>International returns will be more complicated, but will follow the same guidelines established for my non-international return policy.

Payment Policy: On-line payments with PayPal only. If you cannot pay within 3 days, let me know so I won't bother you with payment reminders. If item is not paid for after 7 days (and I also have not received information from buyer in regards to when payment will be made) I will open an "unpaid item case" against buyer which will be recorded on buyers account and can affect buyers ability to bid on future auctions.>>>>>>>>>> If you live in the Salem, Oregon area you can pay cash when you pick-up your item at a mutually designated place and time.

Shipping Policy:  Standard shipping is free in the U.S. (including Hawaii and Alaska), its territories and possessions (American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, Wake Atoll/Island), APO’s/FPO’s/DPO’s, and its Freely Associated States (United Nations NY, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of Palau).

International Shipping Policy: International shipping is not free and will incur international shipping charges plus other fees from the Global Shipping Program (GSP) center in Kentucky USA. The GSP is contracted by Armchairfindings to ship items sold to buyers located outside of the USA (defined above) and their fees are not negotiable. I will ship international orders free of charge to the GSP center in Kentucky USA. GSP will handle the shipping and exporting of such items from their Kentucky center to your international shipping address...This part of the shipping is NOT free of charge. I have no control over how much is charged by GSP to export items but it may be prohibitively expensive and I urge international buyers to carefully consider the additional GSP expenses before committing to buy or bid on my items. GSP will quote international buyers of additional fees automatically when a buyer located outside of the USA is logged in and looking at my eBay items. GSP will bill and collect the money from the buyer for the services they perform. The money you pay for my item will be credited to my account and the amount you are charged by GSP will be credited to their account and I have no way of knowing how much they charge for their service and I cannot refund the charges paid to GSP. The amount they charge may be based on the selling price of the item, the country the item was originally made in, the import duty, taxes and charges of the destination country, the shipment from Kentucky, USA to the buyer’s address, and the GSP brokerage fee. Of course, you may find something unique that I have for sale and you cannot find it anywhere else and you are willing to pay the additional GSP expenses in order to obtain this item. In this case, buy it from me and I will pack the item carefully and sufficiently for international shipping then I will ship it to the GSP center in Kentucky USA. GSP takes over the responsibility of the item's shipment from Kentucky to the buyer's address. It is my hope that my international buyers are completely informed of their transaction costs. I have considered limiting my listings to the USA only because I do not know the language and addressing customs of other countries and I want to insure that all of my items effectively and efficiently reach the buyer. I also realize that it can be difficult to find a specific item for sale in one's own country and I'm thankful that I can purchase items from foreign sellers via eBay and I feel responsible to return the gesture. Therefore, I have contracted GSP to handle my international sales. Thank you for considering the purchase of my items.
