A. G. Spalding’s Kro-Flite clubs were initially made in 1927. In 1930 after winning the Grand Slam Bobby Jones retired from golf and became a vice president at A.G. Spalding & Bros. In late 1930 Spaulding introduced the Bobby Jones line of clubs with a tight 9 dot pattern and Robert T. Jones cramped signature stamped on the back of the clubs. The clubs have steel shafts which were painted to give the impression of hickory.The Bobby Jones Autograph set was designed under the watchful eye of Jones himself . In an interview for Golf magazine Bobby’s grandson Robert Tyre Jones IV revealed a very little known fact that“Bobby was a natural lefthander forced to write righty as a kid.” Bobby Jones stated in his book Bobby Jones on Golf that “I should say that there would be not more than one left-handed player in each three hundred” So despite an extremely limited market for left handed golf clubs Jones childhood memories may very well have compelled him to insist that Spalding make left handed clubs The Autograph clubs were only sold individually and  are a much rarer version of the Robert T Jones clubs  Add to that that these are  a left handed style  and the rarity quadruples Shown for comparison is one of the Registered clubs which is not included in this saleNotice the difference in the shafts, grips and the red band above the ferrule on the registered club and  green band of the autograph club  and  the leather wrap grips of the autograph club Don’t know much about the bag this is the way it was found with the clubs in it. The bag is missing the bottom hook for the shoulder strap.Nine Early 1930‘s Bobby Jones Spalding Kro Flite Clubs with Leather Wilson Indestructo Carry Golf BagIt is highly doubtful there will be another set like this available anytime soon While I believe the information provided here is correct I am not an expertOPEN TO REASONABLE OFFERS...
