For sale is a beautiful set of Adams XTD Tungsten-Forged Irons, 4 - Gap Wedge (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, PW, GW) - 8 clubs in total. They are gently used with no major blemishes, no nicks, no dents nor dings. Clean grooves and faces. Grips are Golf Pride New Decade Multi Compound with cord. The shafts are KBS Tour C-Taper extra stiff (130g, .355 tip, mid-trajectory).The 8-iron through Gap Wedge feature a muscle-back head design, while the 4-iron through 7-iron feature a slight cavity offering a slightly higher launch and more forgiveness. Unlike a traditional forged iron, the XTDs feature Adams' signature Cut-Thru Slot Technology. The slots, cut through the sole of the irons, extend all the way up behind the face, creating a hollow design that produces a "floating face". High density tungsten weights have been added inside each XTD iron, adding more weight to the toe of the club that positions the center of gravity lower and adds to the clubs forgiveness. The size and position of the weights alters throughout the set to offer the feel, forgiveness and weight suitable to each specific iron.
