For Auction : SCOTTY CAMERON PROTOTYPE DEL MAR 3.5 " J.A.T.This MINT J.A.T. Prototype presented in totally unused condition with the original cellophane wrapper still on the grip.Supplied with an original Studio Design Head Cover and Divot tool.Original shaft with unmarked decals. All original milling mark sSelling on behalf of a PGA Professional whom can verify its authenticity if required. Head 10/10Shaft 10/10Headcover 10/10Divot Tool 10/10JAT means "just a thought" and was offered to find a possible solution to Sergio Garcia's desire for a mallet style putter at the time. It is an iteration of the "Del Mar " model from which design cues were taken and there would have been a number made presumably as Mr. Cameron might have wanted wider exposure to the Tour Circuit in order to market test the idea. It may also pre-date the 'Sergio Garcia' model that is in circulation. This is something that he has done with other prototypes prior to then going ahead with a full production run. This became the template for the Studio Design Model 5 so therefore pre - dates the Studio Design series 'Model 5' that was launched in 2003.This is a must for a collector or someone who wants a mallet that is a little bit 'special' on the course. It is priced competitively versus some others on offer around the Globe.It will be sent fully protected, properly boxed and fully insured via a tracked courier service.
