What is WedgeWorks?In the summer of 2010, Vokey.com launched WedgeWorks, which allowed the masses to purchase Vokey Tour Van Design (TVD) wedges directly from the source in Mr. Vokey’s facility in Carlsbad, Ca. Special grinds, exclusive finishes, limited releases, Tour-issue heads and unique engraving became available to all golfers. WedgeWorks is unlike the Scotty Cameron custom shop, in that it is not just a place to send a club for reconditioning or customization, although those services are available too. Through WedgeWorks, Vokey.com is able to release many prototype and special edition wedges to the public, as well as exclusive models that cannot be purchased at most stores.What are you bidding on?In this listing you will be bidding on original (1) 2012 Tour Van Design SM4 52 Degree M Grind & (2) 56 Degree M Grind wedges with a Black Oxide Finish that have been used (8.5/10 rating). The third wedge is one of the newest releases from WedgeWorks, the (3) 2017 Tour Van Design SM6 "Raw" 60 Degree M Grind (9.5/10 rating). All 3 wedges feature new KBS C-Taper S+ Shafts and Golf Pride Corded Grips. Note: Each of these wedges originally sold for $250 each.The TVD 52 & 56 Spin Milled 4 wedges forward bounce surface features moderate width with enhanced camber, allowing the club face to easily pivot around the center for versatility in both open and closed playing positions. The moderate effective bounce makes the TVD 52 & 56 excellent all condition wedge.The TVD Spin Milled 6 60 Degree wedge, features Progressive Center of Gravity (CG) technology, TX4 Grooves and tour proven sole grind. The Raw finish enables the tour van to customize each player's wedge exactly to spec. Many players prefer that this finish reduces glare and rusts over time. (Note: This wedge has natural rust and is expected to rust, enhancing ball contact with surface of wedge face)About KBS C-Taper Shafts...Inspired by Tour player feedback, the KBS C-TAPER shaft produces a lower flight and spin rate while maintaining the benefits of a piercing trajectory and smooth feel. Incorporating signature KBS technology, the C-TAPER shaft maximizes energy transfer to improve distance and ball control. Independent testing of the C-TAPER resulted in 5% lower trajectory, 5% less spin and 5% more distance. Specs: 125 gram shaft, Tip Diameter .355", Butt OD .600"
