On auction is a set of MADE IN JAPAN, Very Rare Team Daiwa 153MS-02 Forged Cavity Irons. Standard Japanese Specs.  Consist of 3-10, 10 is the PW. Original Tour graphite shaft, Design and Produced by Daiwa.. Stiff Flex. Right-handed. Grips are good, standard size. Authentic Japanese clubs. Daiwa used to be a leading brand in the 90’s producing top grade golf clubs and their shafts are one of the most popular in Japan. This set is highly functional and they look great as well with the thin top line which many players out there are looking for. The shaft is featuring a built in Metal Mesh in the graphite material near the upper portion which play and feel like graphite, yet has the consistency of steel shaft. They are meant to provide better distance and tighter shots dispersion. The clubs provide an unmatched buttery feel out from the soft forged irons and with tremendous shot-shaping capabilities. More for golfers who want the forgiveness and also the pure feel of forged. Forgiveness in this context means not overly penalizing for mis-hits. I.e. launches center shots farther, while keeping off-center shots straighter (less loss of distance). Advantages of Japanese Golf ProductsIn general, Japanese clubs are more expensive as compared to the US market models. The reason for it is that in the golf communities, most golfers want to play what they see their favorite tour players using. But in Japan, the average golfers are more aware that there's a lot of difference between the Pros and the rest of us. They are more willing to spend money to get equipment which is packed with technology that helps average golfers the most.  We might call that "buying a game", and it's probably a more realistic way for golfers to buy equipment. Therefore the Club makers in Japan have to go extra miles in order to compete in the competitive market by including using different material and manufacturing process.   Manufacturing forged irons is a more complicated process than casting. Due to the dense and uniform grain structure of forging, they provide repeatable and unique combination of shot consistency & feel. For the shafts, Japan issued clubs come with Made-in-Japan premium shafts.  Although they may feel a little softer when bending them by hands, they always amazingly kick back right in time to give you a tremendous impact. These shafts reward smooth swings, and over time, the player’s swing will become more fundamentally sound. When you hit the ball with it, you can feel the difference quite clearly.   SPECIFICATIONS
