Many of you know the Jordan Spieth "prototype 009" is based on the old standard Newport. When you look at the Newport line, this is the closest thing to it that I see. Secondarily, but perhaps most important, this particular putter has a "pop" to it at impact that is rare. It's just the perfect blend of weight, shaft and design that, when the ball is struck in the sweet spot, the feel is about as good as any putter I've ever put my hands on. I know this is very subjective, but this putter is a gem - absolutely fantastic. And the finish is quite original. You won't see anyone anywhere with a putter like this and you'll be the envy on every putting green with this gorgeous Scotty Cameron Pro Platinum. The only reason I'm parting this this baby is that I have purchased two of the all black, no sight line Taylormade putters that Dustin Johnson/Jason Day are using, and I'm "all in" if you know what I mean.
