This portable "chair" was originally designed as a golf accessory. When folded, it fit conveniently into the golf bag. When pushed into the ground, the top opened up to provide a nice, sturdy seat for the weary golfer. These types of seats were also used during various lawn sporting events by spectators; hence, the name "spectator seat".
This one is still sturdy enough to use; but it also looks amazing on the wall or mantle. A rare and unique gift for the sports fan and collector.
